Rob Burrow can't wait for the new Super League season to begin with Leeds Rhinos' World Club Challenge meeting with Melbourne Storm on the horizon. Burrow was part of the Leeds side which overcame Melbourne 11-4 in the 2008 encounter and is relishing the prospect of going head-to-head with the best side from the NRL again at Elland Road in February. The Rhinos lost last season's showpiece by a 28-20 scoreline to the Manly Sea Eagles. "I would be lying if I said that I wasn't already thinking about Melbourne," said Burrow. "It is going to be a massive game for the club and for Super League. "They are the best side in the NRL and they have proven that over the past few years, as we have done over here. "Their team is full of world-class players like Billy Slater, Cameron Smith, Greg Inglis, the list goes on and on. "It will be an unbelievable night but we certainly know that we need to put in the hard work now in pre-season to make sure we are ready for them." |
