Former Bradford Bulls star Semi Tadulala is being linked with a move to Gloucester. Cherry & Whites coach Bryan Redpath is keen to strengthen his squad which has struggled due to a combination of international call-ups and injuries so far this season. He said: "We only have 16 backs in the squad and three of those are scrum-halves, and that's not a lot with international duties and injuries." The 31-year-old has never played rugby union before but has been called up for Fiji's tour of Europe and could feature against Romania on Saturday. If he does play than his chances of getting a work permit will be improved and he could become a target for other clubs. Tadulala represented Fiji in last year's Rugby League World Cup and he scored two tries in an 18-16 defeat to Scotland and appeared in all of his country's games up to their semi-final defeat to Australia. |
