Super League favourites St Helens and Leeds Rhinos both lost on a dramatic night of rugby league action on Friday. Leaders St Helens lost 34-30 at the hands of Bradford following a stunning second-half comeback from the Bulls. Saints had led 26-10 at the interval but Michael Worrincy went over twice to edge the Bulls in front late on and the improving West Yorkshire side held on to secure a morale-boosting victory. Meanwhile, Leeds' inconsistent season continued after they went down 21-4 at home to Harlequins. Two tries from David Howell consigned the reigning champions to their fourth Super League defeat in five matches at Headingley. |
