Catalans ease to play-off win

20:51 - 13th, Sep 2008

Justin Murphy ran in four tries as Catalans Dragons crushed Warrington 46-8 in the Super League play-offs to keep their season alive.

The Dragons had fallen behind to an early Chris Hicks penalty before putting the visitors to the sword in Perpignan.

Murphy claimed two tries and further touchdowns from Thomas Bosc and Dimitri Pelo gave the home side a handsome 20-point advantage at the interval.

Casey McGuire and Warrington's Simon Grix traded tries at the start of the second half before Murphy claimed another two scores and Gregory Mounis plus Clint Greenshields completed the rout.

Catalans will now face Wigan Warriors in the elimination semi-final on September 20.
