Westwood pens Wolves deal

10:59 - 28th, Aug 2008

Second row forward Ben Westwood is the latest player to agree a new contract with Warrington Wolves.

The 27-year-old England international has put pen to paper on a new two-year contract after scoring 12 tries in 25 appearances this season.

In recent weeks, Paul Rauhihi, Steve Pickersgill, Chris Riley and Mike Cooper have all signed new deals at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

"I'm pleased everything is done and dusted and I've committed my future to the Wolves as I'm settled here," said Westwood.

"Obviously I had another year to run on my contract, but I wanted to get a new deal sorted."
