Veteran sprinter Borderlescott could feature in the Nunthorpe Stakes at York next week after trainer Robin Bastiman revealed an injury the horse had sustained wasn't as bad as was first feared.
The eight-year-old suffered a problem despite winning the King George Stakes at Goodwood last month, but scans have revealed little damage and, after winning the event at the Knavesmire in 2008 and 2009, could be thrust back into the action.
