AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has rejected claims suggesting he sold Kaka to Real Madrid knowing he was suffering from a groin injury. The Brazilian playmaker has failed to make a dynamic impact that many expected following his big-money move in the summer. Reports in Madrid suggest the 27-year-old has been hindered with a niggling groin complaint, but Galliani has dismissed the stories. Speaking to reporters, Galliani said: "It's absurd. "Last season Kaka played 31 games in the Italian league and was a virtual ever-present. I don't like the suggestion that we gave Real Madrid an injured player." |
