Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Toni Kroos has warned his team-mates not to rest on their laurels after a 4-0 win over Stuttgart took his side four points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table. Juopp Heynckes' side are unbeaten in the league after 14 games, but Kroos - on loan from Bayern Munich - insists that cool heads are needed for the coming months. He told the club's official website: "We can be happy with that. We produced another good team performance at home, but we can't afford to sit back and relax. "Of course, our aim is to still to be top at the winter break, but being top at Christmas doesn't win you the league title. "The main aim for us is to get as many points as possible." |
