MK Dons scored three goals in the last 20 minutes as Paul Ince's side came back from 3-1 down to beat Exeter City 4-3 in the second round of the FA Cup. The Dons led at half-time thanks to Sam Baldock's effort, only for two Barry Corr goals in four second-half minutes and a third by Adam Stansfield to put the Grecians 3-1 ahead. However, Baldock's 70th-minute goal gave the Dons hope and late goals by Martin Devaney and Jermaine Easter sent Ince's side into the third round. Tranmere Rovers and Aldershot Town drew 0-0 while Nathan Clarke's goal proved to be enough for Huddersfield Town to win 1-0 at Port Vale. Jamie Cook gave Oxford United a ninth-minute lead against Barrow but the game ended 1-1 after Andy Bond equalised with a 43rd-minute penalty which Luke Foster, who was sent off for his indiscretion, conceded. Leon Legge netted in the 13th minute as Brentford beat Walsall 1-0 at Griffin Park while Mark Nwokeji scored a late equaliser for Luton Town as the Blue Square Premier League side drew 2-2 at Rotherham United. Mark Preece headed the winner as Forest Green Rovers beat Bath City 2-1 while ten-man Accrington Stanley had to settle for a 2-2 draw in the all-League Two encounter with Barnet. Notts County came from behind to win 2-1 at Bournemouth, Lee Hughes and Craig Westcarr netting for the visitors. Michael Rankine broke the deadlock at the Abbey Stadium and Richard Brodie scored from the penalty spot as York City won 2-1 at Cambridge United. Anthony Tonkin scored a late consolation goal for the U's. Southampton win 3-2 at Northampton Town as Dean Hammond contrived to score for both teams while Chris Weston's second-half goal proved to be enough for Gillingham to edge past Burton Albion 1-0. Finally, Gordon Greer's late goal helped Swindon Town beat Wrexham 1-0 at the Racecourse Ground. |
