Darlington manager Steve Staunton has made Chesterfield midfielder Paul Harsley his second signing of the day.

The 31-year-old joins the Quakers on loan until January 2 following the capture of Leeds United youngster Andrew Milne earlier on Thursday.

Harlsey has a wealth of experience since starting his career at Grimsby Town 12 years ago.

He also played for Scunthorpe United, Halifax Town, Northampton Town, Macclesfield Town and Port Vale before joining the Spireites 18 months ago.
