Bayern Munich director Uli Hoeness has hinted that he could sign Werder Bremen forward Diego this summer.

Bayern would move for the Brazilian if they fail to keep France international Franck Ribery at the Allianz Arena.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are interested in signing Ribery while Diego's proposed switch to Juventus appears to have fallen through.

Hoeness told Bild: "If Ribery does go then Diego will be a player that we will certainly be looking to sign."
