AC Milan president Adriano Galliani insists he is in no rush to discuss a new contract with Ronaldo. The injury-plagued Brazil striker finally made his first appearance of the season for the Rossoneri in Sunday's 2-1 victory at Cagliari. However, despite his contract expiring at the end of the current season, Galliani has no immediate plans to sit down and discuss a new deal with the former Real Madrid, Internazionale and Barcelona striker. Ronaldo joined Milan on a short-term deal midway through last season after falling out of favour at Madrid. He has been linked with a move to join former Real team-mate David Beckham at MLS side LA Galaxy. "There is no problem with Ronaldo's contract," insisted Galliani. "There is great affection between the club and the player." |
