Toyota enjoyed a perfect qualifying session at the Bahrain Grand Prix with Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock locking out the front row at Sakhir. Trulli took pole position with a storming fast lap in the final part of the session, being more than half a second quicker than everyone else in the field apart from team-mate Glock. Chinese Grand Prix winner Sebastian Vettel in third in his Red Bull and alongside him on row two is Jenson Button in the first of the two Brawn GP cars. Button's number two, Rubens Barrichello, starts from sixth place, with reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton in fifth in his McLaren. Renault's Fernando Alonso was seventh fastest, while the two Ferraris of Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen were eighth and tenth. Mark Webber suffered a nightmare session as he finished 19th on the grid, only just ahead of Force India's Giancarlo Fisichella. |
